Cease and Desist Letter
This article describes the cease and desist document and how you can access it on PaperOS.
Companies will issue a cease and desist letter to threaten legal action for an activity that allegedly violates that such company's rights. These letters are most often to assert IP rights or to threaten a third party for violating a patent, copyright, or trademark. In some cases, it is used to invite companies violating IP rights into licensing negotiations to allow the accused company continued use of the IP.
