Charter Amendment (Corporation Specific)

Amend your company name or increase authorized shares with this workflow. Generate the correct documents and submit the filings.

How do I change the name of my entity?

Changing the name of your entity requires an amendment in the states where you are registered. Doing so will require a state filing, and the requirements for those filings can vary state by state.

Please note that changing your name within your filing state will not flow through the IRS. We advise that you speak to your accountant about how to notify the IRS about the updates made to your business name.

Access our Charter Amendment workflow on PaperOS.

  • Stockholder Consent
  • Certificate of Amendment
