How PaperOS protects your data
An overview of how PaperOS secures, hosts, and controls access to your legal and financial data.
PaperOS stores sensitive corporate, equity, and investor data, so security is foundational to the platform. This overview describes our general approach; specifics are verified by our security team.
How your data is protected:
Encryption: data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access controls: role-based permissions limit who in your workspace can view or edit documents. Authentication: we support two-factor authentication. See "Set up two-factor authentication"
Certifications: For data export, retention, or deletion requests, see "Data export, retention, and deletion".
Related Workflows:
PaperOS is not an attorney or a law firm, and can only provide self-help services at your specific direction. Do not rely on any documents or information from PaperOS without consulting an attorney. PaperOS may partner with or refer clients to licensed attorneys, but such referral does not constitute an attorney-client relationship until the attorney is officially engaged by the client.
