How to Get Started in PaperOS

An introduction into how to get started, setup your workspace, invite and onboard your team, and create new accounts.

This guide walks you through your first steps in PaperOS: creating your workspace, adding your entity, and inviting your team. It's written for the person setting up the account for a company or fund.

Before you start:

  • You have a PaperOS account and can log in.

  • You know your entity's legal name and home state (or you're about to form one).

  • From your dashboard, create or select your Workspace.

  • Add your entity: enter the legal name, entity type, and home state, or start a formation workflow if you haven't formed yet.

  • Invite teammates from workspace settings and assign each person a role.

  • Complete your profile and review your subscription so the right workflows are unlocked.

What success looks like: Your entity appears in the workspace, your team can log in, and your dashboard shows the workflows available on your plan.
