Limited Partnership Agreement (LP)

This article describes the limited partnership agreement (LP) document and how you can access it on Savvi.

A limited partnership agreement (LP) is different from a partnership agreement in terms of organizational structure. In a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), there must be at least two partners, whereas a LP may have a single, general partner who handles all the decisions and the day to day operations of the company. The general partner also is responsible for all liability of debt for the company. The limited partner is only liable up to the amount they invest in the company, but they are not involved in the operations of the company.
